This entry is new
As I'm sure you have noticed
And its in haiku =D

(Dude, that rhymed)

Hippies make me mad
Marines barred from our own soil?
This is a bad road

http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/02/07/berkeley.protests

Those poor Berklians
Suffering through recruiting
Not inconvenienced

And so they protest
This infringement of their right?
Those poor poor people

Recruitmen of men (And women, but that doesnt fit in the meter)
Volunteers? How dare they try
To fight for us all

If only there were...
A force to defend Pink's right
To be ignorant.

Oh hey! Guess what guys
Those of you who will not read
I joined the Army.

That was completely
Unrelated, beleive me
No sarcasm, srsly.

I will conclude this
With a perfect simple truth
I am so awesone

A rare update.

And a typical update of nothingness.

I'm working landscaping again, thats going pretty well.

Otherwise I'm pretty boring.

I'm also endeavoring to clean my room. Thats going slightly less well.

In conclusion, I am amazing.

Love,
Chris

Well... I really wish I could update this and have something about me to say.

But I don't.

So get ready for another rant! Woo! Yaay! No.

So, yesterday I started up FireFox and was greeted on my homepage with a news story about how stem cells have been discovered in amniotic fluid. http://washingtontimes.com/national/20070108-124236-8204r.htm

Now, I want you to think about this. If it's news that stem cells have been found in a different source, what is that saying? That it had been previously thought that the only useful stem cells were embryonic stem cells. That is, stem cells coming from aborted babies.

THIS. IS. NOT. NEWS.

I found this page LAST YEAR.
http://www.stemcellresearch.org/facts/treatments.htm

If you don't want to bother clicking links and whatnot I will sum it up for you:

Adult Stem Cells: 72 diseases cured
Embryonic Stem Cells: 0 diseases cured

From my understanding, there are more useful and plentiful stem cells in grown adults than there are in any aborted fetus. This whole thing is ludicrous. It has been known for quite some time that aborted babies are no better for any cure than any random rock on a street, yet the debate still rages reducing a human, God given life to this level! "Ohh but it's not 'God given'" some will say, wrongly of course, and that is what some of this is about. I doubt it will be long before some humanist starts blaming Christians for a lack of cures because we oppose abortion! It is rediculous and I for one am sick of it, and I sincerely hope that should such a thing ever be said that I would not hear it.

END RANT.

Ahh e-soapbox, what would I do without you?

Midterms tomorrow, and the next day... And the next day.

Now time for... Something else!

Comments are always appreciated.
-Chris
